Opening Outlook 2003 email attachment

In Outlook 2003 one of our clients were not able to open an outlook attachment that had the envelope icon which should open with outlook. The user was able to forward the message to an internet email account and open it however. After some research I found out that it could be an issue with the Google toolbar. I found that from within outlook click Tools-options-other-advanced and then go to the ad-in manager and Com ad-in and remove the google options in both. This should resolve the issue.
