Description of Network Items
Descriptions:
i. Server 3 SBS: Server 2003 Small Business Edition R2 installed on a custom ordered server tailored to the needs of the client. Large enough capacity to easily handle files that contain scanned/added items.
ii. Microsoft Windows 2003 Standard R2 for installation on top of the Virtual Server software to act as the Terminal Server for Remote Access and streaming of applications.
iii. Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 R2 for installing a second operating system instead of purchasing another separate server.
iv. Microsoft Softgrid for sequencing and serving virtual applications to Terminal Server
v. Terminal Server User Client Access Licenses for up to 10 concurrent remote sessions into TS.
vi. Setup of the domain on small business server, coordinate all routing of IP traffic, installation and configuration of Virtual Server hosting of the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 OS, installation of TS , licensing server, and adding of licenses for TS. Setting up of User Accounts for login to Active Directory, setting up the Exchange email server, assist with training on various items related to Microsoft Office and sharing of outlook data, setup of a Groupshare or various shares with specific accesses. Securing of the TS/domain environment. Installation of Acronis True Image Enterprise 9.1 for Backup purposes, and configuring of routing backups according to advised schedule. Installation of Office 2003 or if purchased 2007, and configuration for exchange usages, Installation of Symantec Corporate Edition 10.2 on server environment. Joining 10 XP Professional computers on the LAN to the Office domain, transferring the current user profile, securing with Group policy, setting auto updates for Windows from the server.
vii. Softgrid custom applications includes installing the Softgrid for TS on the TS, installing Softgrid application server on SBS, simulating the client environment, sequencing the necessary software on a TS and XP Pro, packaging and serving that software on the Application Server for the specific users, groups, or computers desktops.
viii. External USB hard drive for onsite automated backups.
